International Women’s Day Brunch – Together We Rise

International Women’s Day has its roots in early 20th‑century labour movements, when women workers organized for fair wages, safer working conditions, and political rights. Over time, IWD has grown into a global call for gender equity, justice, and liberation — a reminder of the collective power that has shaped progress across generations.
Our Together We Rise brunch honours this legacy by celebrating the women and non‑binary daily and long‑term occasional educators who uplift the next generation through their creativity, courage, and care.
All members are warmly invited to attend as guests, regardless of gender identity.
We are accepting nominations for five outstanding women or non‑binary educators in the following categories:
